Job Title: Full-Time Cover Supervisor – Secondary School
Location: South Liverpool

Contract: Full-time, Monday to Friday

Are you an experienced Cover Supervisor looking for a rewarding role in education? Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated Full-Time Cover Supervisor to work in a secondary school in South Liverpool, covering general subject lessons across KS3 and KS4.

Role Overview:

As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in maintaining continuity of learning in the absence of teachers. You will deliver pre-prepared lessons, manage classroom behaviour, and ensure students stay engaged and on task. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals with classroom experience who are passionate about education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver pre-set lesson plans across various subjects
  • Manage classroom behaviour and ensure a positive learning environment
  • Provide support and guidance to students where necessary
  • Liaise with teaching staff and follow school policies
  • Supervise students during lessons, ensuring they remain focused on their work

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Cover Supervisor or in a similar educational setting (essential)
  • Strong classroom management skills
  • Ability to adapt to different subjects and year groups
  • Confident, professional, and able to engage students effectively
  • A passion for education and student development

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
