  • Focusing on strengthening understanding and building confidence in these key subject areas for students in Nottingham.
  • Developing and implementing tailored lesson plans to meet the individual learning needs and goals of each student you'll be working with.
  • Creating a supportive and encouraging learning environment that fosters academic growth.
  • Potentially supporting students with exam preparation and revision strategies.

What we're looking for:

  • Strong knowledge and a passion for English, Maths, and/or Science.
  • Previous experience in teaching, tutoring, or holding an equivalent qualification in education or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain concepts clearly.
  • The ability to create engaging and accessible learning materials relevant to the core subjects.
  • A current DBS certificate and willingness to subscribe to the Update Service.
  • A willingness to tutor students located in the NG3 postcode area is desirable.

What we offer:

  • Competitive Pay: Earn between £25 - £30 per hour (exact rate dependent on the funding provided for the pupil's tuition and your experience/expertise). We are committed to offering the best possible rate based on available resources.
  • Flexible Hours: Work between Monday to Friday, approximately 8:30 am - 3:30 pm. Potential for additional hours may also be available, particularly in the NG3 area.
  • Generous Time Off: Enjoy approximately 13 weeks off per year, giving you a great work-life balance.
  • Dedicated Support: You'll have a dedicated consultant to discuss current roles, including opportunities within the NG3 postcode, future opportunities, and any support you may need.
  • Rewarding Work: Play a vital role in a student's academic success and witness their progress in core subjects firsthand in Nottingham.
