Job Description:
We are seeking a temporary part-time Construction Lecturer in Multi-skills to begin working with our partner college soon as possible and continue on an ongoing basis.
The position will be available during the following hours:
Monday through Thursday from 8.30 to 17:00, plus a one-hour unpaid lunch break (22.5 hours)
The candidate must be competent to instruct at all levels, with a focus on roofing, plastering, and property maintenance, among other things.

- Deliver lectures on construction-related topics to students
- Develop lesson plans and instructional materials
- Assess student learning and provide feedback
- Stay updated on industry trends and developments
- Provide academic support and guidance to students
Required Qualifications:
- Relevant qualification in Construction or a related field
- Teaching or training qualification
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
Education:
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Construction or a related discipline
Experience:
- Prior experience in the construction industry
- Teaching experience is desirable
Knowledge and Skills:
- Thorough understanding of construction principles and practises
- Ability to engage and motivate students
- Strong organisational and time management skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- A minimum of a level 3 vocational qualification in the Construction industry. (Desirable to have qualifications in Bricklaying)
- GCSE grade C or equivalent in English and maths
Desirable but not mandatory -
- Certificate in Education/PGCE/ DTLLS/DET
- Assessor qualifications A1 or equivalent
- Internal Verification qualification V1 or equivalent
- Able to deliver across different construction trades

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
