Position Details:
- Location: Orrell, Wigan
- Role: Computing/ICT Teacher
- Start Date: Immediate or from the upcoming term
- Salary: Paid to scale (MPS/UPS)
- Contract: Full-time, long-term with potential for permanent placement
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and innovative Computing and ICT lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 experience is advantageous).
- Develop and implement creative lesson plans that cater to a range of learning styles and abilities.
- Inspire students to explore the world of technology and develop critical digital skills.
- Monitor and track student progress, providing constructive feedback to ensure academic success.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the Computing/ICT curriculum and contribute to the wider school community.
What We’re Looking For:
- A qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent) with a degree in Computing, ICT, or a related subject.
- Experience teaching Computing/ICT in a secondary school setting, with excellent subject knowledge.
- A commitment to delivering high-quality education and achieving excellent outcomes for students.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to foster a positive learning environment.
- A proactive and enthusiastic approach to teaching, with a passion for technology and innovation.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
