The Computer Science and ICT department is forward-thinking and continually seeks to offer courses relevant to students. The department currently offers GCSE Computer Science, OCR Cambridge National Information Technologies, and other ICT-related courses. With over 400 students taking one of these KS4 courses, the department is a vibrant and dynamic part of the school.
Requirements:
- Must have relevant experience teaching Computer Science and ICT, with excellent up-to-date subject knowledge, including general ICT skills.
- Enthusiastic and passionate about the subject, with a commitment to raising standards.
- Prepared to teach a variety of different courses across the department, including ICT.
- Able to deliver engaging and effective lessons that inspire students.
- An excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
- Skilled at building positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Ready to work as part of a dynamic and forward-thinking team, contributing proactively to the department’s development.
