Position: Computer Science Teacher
Location: Northampton

Are you a passionate and dedicated Computer Science Teacher looking for an exciting opportunity? Teaching Personnel is seeking a motivated educator to join a highly regarded secondary school in Northampton. Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective Computer Science lessons across KS3 and KS4 (with opportunities to teach KS5).
  • Develop students' programming, computational thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Foster a passion for technology and its real-world applications.
  • Prepare students for GCSE and other relevant assessments, ensuring academic progress.
  • Create an inclusive, supportive, and stimulating classroom environment.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Education, or a related field.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching certification.
  • Previous teaching experience is preferred but not essential.
  • Strong knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++.
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
  • Ability to inspire and engage students of all abilities.
  • Hold an enhanced child-only DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
