Teaching Personnel, the UK's leading education recruitment agency, are working in partnership with a mainstream secondary school in Coventry (CV6) to appoint a talented Computer Science teacher on a full time basis.
Hours: Full Time
Pay rate: To scale for fully qualified teachers (£160-250 per day dependent upon qualifications and experience)
Location: Coventry, CV6
Start Date: ASAP
Our ideal applicant will :
- Hold a UK QTS in Computer Science
- Have vast experience teaching/covering Computer Science lessons in a UK secondary school
- Have competent knowledge and understanding of the national curriculum for Computer Science
- Be able to commit to a full time teaching opportunity
- Be confident with their own behaviour management skills and be a strong classroom presence
- Collaborate with colleagues and communicate effectively
You will be responsible for:
- planning and delivering a range of exciting computer science lessons to KS3-KS5 that engages all learners within each class
- regularly assessing pupil progress and providing constructive and positive feedback through marking and verbal communication
- ensuring the best academic outcomes for all pupils within your classes, tailoring lessons to suit individual needs
- working closely with support staff to ensure pupils with special educational needs, receive the care and dedication they need in order to succeed
- ensuring safeguarding principles are at the centre of your practice
