Computer Science Teacher Wanted – North Devon Area

Teaching Personnel is seeking a passionate and dedicated Computer Science Teacher to work in secondary schools across the North Devon area. This is an exciting opportunity to engage students in the world of coding, digital literacy, and emerging technologies while developing their problem-solving and computational thinking skills.

Your Role:

  • Deliver engaging Computer Science lessons to KS3 and KS4 students
  • Teach key topics such as programming, algorithms, networks, and cybersecurity
  • Encourage creativity and problem-solving through hands-on coding projects
  • Use modern technology and interactive teaching methods to enhance learning
  • Assess and monitor student progress, adapting lessons to meet individual needs
  • Foster a passion for digital skills and prepare students for future careers in technology

What We’re Looking For:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
  • Experience teaching Computer Science at secondary level (KS3 & KS4)
  • Strong knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Java, or HTML
  • Ability to engage and inspire students of all abilities

Location: Secondary schools across the North Devon area

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Computer Science Teacher looking for flexible or long-term opportunities in a supportive and progressive teaching environment, with the potential for a permanent role.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
