Cleaner & Domestic Assistant – SEN School (Ormskirk) – Permanent Contract

A specialist SEN school in Ormskirk is seeking a Cleaner & Domestic Assistant to join their team on a permanent contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for students and staff.

The Role:

  • Ensuring all areas of the school are kept clean and hygienic, including classrooms, communal spaces, and restrooms

  • Carrying out daily cleaning duties such as vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and sanitising surfaces

  • Assisting with laundry and general housekeeping tasks as required

  • Following health and safety regulations and maintaining cleaning supplies

What We’re Looking For:

  • Previous experience in cleaning or housekeeping (preferred but not essential)

  • A reliable and hardworking attitude with attention to detail

  • Understanding of hygiene and safety standards

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Contract Details:

  • Start Date: ASAP

  • Contract Type: Permanent

  • Location: Specialist SEN school in Ormskirk

  • £25,584 - £27,269 (Salary will be pro rata'd)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
