Are you an experienced and passionate SEN teacher looking for a rewarding opportunity in Bristol? Would you like to work in a specialist school for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities (PMLD).

The Role
We are seeking a dynamic SEN teacher to:
- Deliver engaging and individualised lessons tailored to the needs of children with ASD and PMLD.
- Implement and adapt EHCPs (Education, Health, and Care Plans) effectively.
- Foster a nurturing and safe environment, promoting positive learning experiences.
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including therapists, teaching assistants, and families.
- Employ creative strategies to support sensory and communication needs.
About You
To thrive in this role, you will need:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Proven experience working with children with SEN, particularly ASD and PMLD.
- Knowledge of sensory integration techniques and alternative communication methods (e.g., Makaton, PECS).
- Patience, adaptability, and a genuine commitment to improving the lives of children with complex needs.
- Strong teamwork and organisational skills.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
