Behaviour Specialist 

  • PAY: 83.85 per day 
  • START: September 2024 
  • HOURS: 08:30 - 15:30

We are looking for passionate Behaviour Specialist with a drive for providing excellent, professional, and effective support. If you are someone who believes they make a difference to the lives of those living with trauma, complex mental health and challenging behaviour, this could be the role for you. You will be working in a fast-paced but rewarding environment with a great team.

What To Expect

As one of our Behaviour Team Members, you will be playing a pivotal role within the education sector of a secure unit, not only as a behaviour professional, but also as a mentor and guide. The role encompasses many different responsibilities, including, but not limited to:

  • Ensuring learner centred care plans are developed, implemented, evaluated and recorded.
  • Working collaboratively as a Behaviour Specialist within the multidisciplinary team, including liaising with associated professionals and other agencies.
  • Facilitating daily activities.
  • Ensuring effective communication.
  • Implementing effective use of Safeguarding.
  • Maintain a learning environment.
  • Assist with the development and /or revision of local policies and procedures as necessary.

Qualifications 

  • Relevant experience working with SEMH and EBD 
  • GCSE's (5 minimum grade A* - C) 
  • DBS Enhanced Child Workforce - We can assist with this. 
  • EWC - We can assist with this.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
