A fantastic school in New Milton is seeking a Classroom Supervisor to join their team, starting 22nd April 2025.
This full-time position offers the chance to work with students aged 11 to 16, supporting their learning and personal development in a nurturing and structured environment.

The Role
As a Classroom Supervisor, you will be responsible for maintaining a structured and engaging learning environment. You will supervise classes in the absence of the teacher, ensuring that students remain focused and on task while following pre-planned lessons. Supporting students with additional needs will be a key part of the role, helping them to stay engaged and develop essential skills for their future. The position requires a patient and compassionate approach, as you will play an important role in promoting positive behaviour, emotional well-being, and academic progress. Building strong relationships with students is essential, as is working collaboratively with teachers and support staff to create an inclusive and supportive learning atmosphere.
What We Are Looking For
The ideal candidate will have experience working with young people, particularly in an educational or support role, and a genuine passion for helping students succeed. Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create a calm and encouraging learning environment are essential. You will need to be adaptable, empathetic, and able to work effectively within a team to provide the best possible outcomes for students.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
