A well-respected and nurturing specialist school in Dorchester is seeking a dedicated Classroom Assistant to support students aged 7 to 19 with autism and complex SEN. This is a part-time position offering the chance to work in a rewarding and enriching environment where no two days are the same.

As a Classroom Assistant, your role will involve supporting classroom activities, encouraging engagement and helping pupils manage their day positively. You will play a vital role in promoting emotional wellbeing, communication and learning progress, both in one-to-one sessions and group settings. You’ll be part of a dedicated team that places care and connection at the heart of education.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
