Make a Difference as a Classroom Assistant
Are you passionate about supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? We are seeking a dedicated Classroom Assistant to join a specialist SEN secondary school in Blandford Forum, working with students aged 5 to 16 who have Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
In this role, you will support teachers by assisting in delivering structured lessons, working with students one-to-one or in small groups, and helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment. You’ll play a crucial role in encouraging students, supporting their independence, and adapting learning activities to meet their individual needs.
The school is known for its personalised approach to learning, where every student is encouraged to build confidence, resilience, and self-esteem. Staff work closely with students to overcome barriers to learning in a supportive and caring environment, ensuring each student can achieve their best.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
