Job Duties:
- Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons to a class of primary school students
- Assess and evaluate student progress to provide feedback and support their learning
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student participation and engagement
- Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support student development and well-being
- Implement school policies and procedures to maintain a safe and productive learning environment
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Knowledge of the national curriculum and teaching standards
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field
Experience:
Previous experience teaching primary school students is preferred
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong understanding of child development and learning theories
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively manage a classroom and respond to student needs
- Good organisational and time management abilities
Preferred Qualifications:
- Postgraduate qualification in Education
- Experience working with diverse student populations
Working Conditions:
The Class Teacher role is based in a primary school setting in Wetherby, West Yorkshire. The working hours are full-time, following the school term calendar. The teacher may be required to participate in extracurricular activities and parent meetings.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
