Contract: Fulltime, Permanent Position

Location: Ipswich, Suffolk
Salary: MPS/UPS, Dependent on experience

Start Date: September 2025

A highly reputable and growing primary school in Ipswich is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Class Teacher to join its committed team on a permanent basis. The Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and creative lessons, fostering a love of learning in pupils, and contributing to the wider school community. The position is suitable for experienced teachers and ECTs who are passionate about inspiring young minds.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the national curriculum
  • Create an inclusive and stimulating classroom environment
  • Assess, monitor, and track pupil progress effectively
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and external agencies to support children’s development
  • Uphold the school’s ethos and commitment to excellence in education

The Ideal Candidate

The school is looking for a teacher who:
✔ Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
✔ Has experience teaching within a primary school setting
✔ Demonstrates strong classroom management skills
✔ Is passionate about supporting children’s development and well-being
✔ Is a team player, with excellent communication and organisational skills
✔ Is committed to ongoing professional development
