Job Duties:

• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging and interactive lessons to primary school students
• Assess and evaluate student progress and provide feedback to parents and guardians
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student participation and success
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to enhance the overall educational experience
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student attendance, achievements, and behaviour

Required Qualifications:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Relevant degree in Education or related field
• Strong knowledge of the UK National Curriculum
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Education or related field

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in a primary school setting

Knowledge and Skills:

• Thorough understanding of child development and learning theories
• Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students
• Proficient in classroom management techniques
• Strong IT skills for lesson planning and delivery

Preferred Qualifications:

• Postgraduate qualification in Education
• Experience working with special educational needs (SEN) students

Working Conditions:

• Work primarily in a classroom setting
• Regular school hours with additional time required for lesson planning and assessment
• Collaborative work with colleagues and interaction with students and parents

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
