Salary: M1 – M6 (Main Pay Scale)

About the Role

Teaching Personnel is excited to recruit an enthusiastic and dedicated Primary Class Teacher for a fantastic school in Cornwall. This fixed-term position offers a wonderful opportunity to make a meaningful impact on pupils' learning and development in a supportive and dynamic school environment.

You will be responsible for teaching a class of engaged and eager learners, planning and delivering lessons that inspire curiosity and foster academic and personal growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
  • Create an inclusive and supportive learning environment that caters to all abilities.
  • Assess, monitor, and report on pupil progress and attainment.
  • Collaborate with school staff and Teaching Personnel to ensure consistent teaching and learning practices.
  • Foster a positive classroom culture that promotes engagement and a love of learning.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree.
  • Experience teaching at the primary level (EYFS, Key Stage 1, or Key Stage 2).
  • Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and effective assessment strategies.
  • A commitment to inclusivity and high expectations for all pupils.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • A proactive and positive attitude, with a passion for education.
