Position: Casual Teaching Assistant (Supply)
Location: East Lancashire (Secondary SEMH Settings)
Hourly Rate: £13.75 - £14.50 per hour
Working Hours: Flexible – work around your schedule!
Are you a passionate and flexible Teaching Assistant looking for a casual role in the East Lancashire area? Teaching Personnel is seeking dedicated individuals to work on a supply basis within Secondary SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) settings, offering the flexibility to work around your own schedule.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide support to students with SEMH needs in both group and one-to-one settings.

Assist teachers in delivering tailored lessons and interventions to support students’ emotional and academic development.

Promote a safe and positive learning environment, helping students manage their behaviour and achieve their potential.

Work closely with other staff to support the overall well-being and progress of students.
What We’re Looking For:

Experience working with young people, ideally in an educational setting (though not essential).

Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with students.

A patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach to working with students with SEMH needs.

Flexibility in working days and the ability to adapt to different school environments.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
