Position: Casual Teaching Assistant (Supply)
Location: East Lancashire (Secondary SEMH Settings)
Hourly Rate: £13.75 - £14.50 per hour
Working Hours: Flexible – work around your schedule!

Are you a passionate and flexible Teaching Assistant looking for a casual role in the East Lancashire area? Teaching Personnel is seeking dedicated individuals to work on a supply basis within Secondary SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) settings, offering the flexibility to work around your own schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to students with SEMH needs in both group and one-to-one settings.

  • Assist teachers in delivering tailored lessons and interventions to support students’ emotional and academic development.

  • Promote a safe and positive learning environment, helping students manage their behaviour and achieve their potential.

  • Work closely with other staff to support the overall well-being and progress of students.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience working with young people, ideally in an educational setting (though not essential).

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with students.

  • A patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach to working with students with SEMH needs.

  • Flexibility in working days and the ability to adapt to different school environments.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
