Job Title: Business Studies Teacher

Job Duties:

  • Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons in Business Studies to students
  • Assess and evaluate students' progress through assignments, exams, and coursework
  • Provide feedback to students to support their learning and development
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the curriculum and teaching methods
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance and performance
  • Participate in departmental meetings and parent-teacher conferences

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Degree in Business Studies or a related field
  • Experience teaching Business Studies at the secondary level

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong understanding of the Business Studies curriculum
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to engage and motivate students
  • Organisational and time management abilities

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate qualification in Education
  • Experience working with students of diverse backgrounds

Working Conditions:

  • Work in a school environment
  • Full-Time contract position
  • Regular hours with occasional evening meetings
