Job Duties:

• Assist in the delivery of classroom activities under the guidance of the lead teacher
• Provide language support to students with limited English proficiency
• Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students
• Support teachers in implementing lesson plans and educational activities
• Assist with classroom management and student supervision

Required Qualifications:

• Fluency in English and a second language- WELSH MEDIUM 
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• A passion for working with children and supporting their educational development

Education:

Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and the second language

Experience:

Prior experience working in an educational setting is desirable but not essential

Knowledge and Skills:

• Understanding of educational principles and practises
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:

• Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
• Additional training in language teaching or education

Working Conditions:

• Work in a school setting with children and teachers
• Full-time hours, temporary position

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
