  • Could you support pupils on a 1:1 or small group basis?
  • Could you build strong relationships with primary and secondary aged pupils?
  • Have you got experience with Autism or ADHD?

Teaching Personnel are working closely with a SEN School that is based in Brighton. The school have recently reached out to us and have queried experienced, enthusiastic individuals who would be a good fit within their school. We’re currently registering educators who have potential to be a successful behavioural buddy for this specific role.

About the role:

The chosen SEN Behaviour Buddy will be expected to build strong bonds with the pupils who they will work alongside on a daily basis. You will also be seen as a role model and will be expected to support the pupils throughout the day; during class, in-between classes and during school outings.

About the school:

The school is a wonderful provision where pupils get to experienced vocational subjects as well as academic subjects as the school has an indoor swimming pool and brand-new outdoor equipment that the pupils are able to use on a daily basis. The school cater for both primary and secondary aged pupils who have PMLD (Profound, Multiple, Learning, Difficulties).

Travel: Car/Bus

Location: Brighton

Pay: £430 - £460 per week

Hours: 8:30am – 15:30pm

Contract: Temp to Perm

DBS: Child Only Enhanced DBS – Discounted through Teaching Personnel

Experience: Teaching Assistant, Support Work, Football Coach

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
