Job Title - Behaviour/Sensory Classroom Assistant

Location:SA19

Salary: £89.83 Per Day

Contract Type: Full-time/part-time (08:30am - 3:30pm)

Teaching Personnel are currently seeking Behaviour Teaching Assistants to join our partnership school in Llandeilo, working with learners with Autism, sensory needs, behaviour. Offering 1 -1, 2-1 and small group support. 

You will be required to work with learner’s aged 11-19 years old. You will need to create and maintain a storng rapport with learners, to support them through their education. Many learners will have truama, mental health, additional learning needs, amongst much more. 

You will be required to support them within a classroom setting, and with outside school trips.

You will work alongside the Teacher and help plan and provide classroom work.

While a very rewarding role, this job opportunity will offer varied challenges and will need a resilient Behaviour Support Mentor to provide the correct and best support with learners and work to improve behaviour.

Requirements:

All applications will need to:

• Hold GCSEs as Minimum
• Have a Full and Clean Driving License
• Have previous experience working with Behaviour/ ADHD/ ASD
• DBS Enhanced – We can help with this
• EWC – We can help with this
• A comprehensive understanding of Safeguarding – Training provided
