We are looking for a Behaviour Support Worker to join a specialist school in Sheffield on a temporary-to-permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals from backgrounds in youth work, social care, sports coaching, or outdoor education who are eager to make a positive impact on young people’s lives.

Role Overview:

• Support students with social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs.
• Provide 1:1 and small group interventions to help students manage their behaviour and emotions.
• Encourage participation in sports, outdoor learning, and structured activities to enhance emotional well-being.
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and pastoral staff to create a positive and supportive learning environment.

Who We’re Looking For:

• A confident, patient, and resilient individual capable of building strong relationships with students.
• Experience in support work, coaching, or outdoor activities is desirable, but not essential.
• A genuine passion for helping young people overcome challenges and achieve success.
• Willingness to participate in training and professional development.
