Position: Behaviour Support Manager
Hours: Full-time, 42.5 hours per week
Location: Wokingham
Salary: £27,711 - £30,060
Teaching personnel are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behaviour Support manager to join there school. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting students with Social, Emotional, Communication, and Interaction Difficulties (SECID) on a day-to-day basis. You will work closely with the Team to implement and monitor behavioural interventions while fostering a positive and supportive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and support the behaviour of SECID students throughout the school day.
- Work collaboratively with the Team Leader to implement tailored behavioural interventions for students.
- Monitor and track students' progress and behaviour, ensuring interventions are effective.
- Ensure clear and consistent communication with students, staff, and parents to support behavioural development.
- Provide one-on-one and small group support to students, helping to reinforce positive behaviours and communication skills.
- Assist in creating and maintaining an inclusive, safe, and positive environment for all students.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Previous experience working with children or young people with Social, Emotional, and Communication Difficulties.
- Strong understanding of behaviour management strategies and interventions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
- A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach to supporting students.
- A commitment to ensuring all students achieve their full potential in a supportive, inclusive setting.
Desirable:
- Qualifications in Special Educational Needs (SEN) or relevant fields.
- Experience working in a school or similar educational setting.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
