Behaviour Support Assistant (Entry-Level) – PRU
Location: Salford |
Join our Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) in Salford, supporting students aged 11-16 with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges.
About the Role:
Kickstart your education career! As an Entry-Level Behaviour Support Assistant, you'll work closely with students, helping them improve behavior, build confidence, and succeed in a supportive setting.
Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 and group support for behavior improvement.
- Assist with behavior plans and classroom management.
- De-escalate challenging situations.
- Build strong, positive relationships with students.
- Help develop students’ social and emotional skills.

- Resilience, patience, and adaptability.
- Strong communication skills.
- No qualifications required; interest in behavior management a plus.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
