Behaviour Support Assistant

Teaching Personnel are currently working in partnership with a primary school located in Macclesfield who are seeking a full-time Behaviour Support Specialist. The school is in a great location with excellent transport links between Stoke-on-Trent and Stockport.

They are looking for a candidate who is passionate about the development of young pupils and is confident in dealing with challenging behaviour. The candidate must be able to use a proactive and flexible approach to effectively support the students needs.

Requirements:

• Experience working with primary school students, ideally within a behaviour support role or similar
• Safeguarding training (must be done through Teaching Personnel)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Patient, empathetic and the ability to remain calm under pressure

About the role:

• Full-time role, Monday-Friday
• Opportunity to earn between £25-30k (dependent on experience)

To be considered for this role, candidates must have a DBS registered on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one upon registration with Teaching Personnel.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
