Job Title: Behaviour Support Assistant
Location: South East England, Surrey, Croydon

Salary: £90 - £100 Per day
Job Description:
Job Duties:
- Provide support to students with challenging behaviour in educational settings.
- Implement behaviour management strategies as directed by the SENCO or teacher.
- Assist in the development and implementation of individual behaviour plans.
- Support students in accessing the curriculum and participating in classroom activities.
- Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to create a positive learning environment.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of GCSE qualifications in English and Maths.
- Experience working with children or young people in an educational setting.
- Understanding of behaviour management techniques and strategies.
Education:
- Relevant qualifications in education, psychology, or a related field is desirable.
Experience:
- Prior experience working in a similar role is advantageous.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain calm and patient in challenging situations.
- Good understanding of child development and learning processes.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Training in behaviour management or special educational needs (SEN) is preferred.
Working Conditions:
- Work hours may vary and could include some evenings or weekends.
- The role may involve working with students with diverse needs and abilities.
- Regular interaction with teachers, parents, and external agencies may be required.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
