Salary: £83.85 per day
Contract Type: Monday - Friday
About the Role: Teaching Personnel is seeking a passionate and dedicated Behaviour Mentor to join a supportive specialist primary provision based in Walsall. As a Behaviour Mentor, you will play a vital role in supporting students with their emotional and social development, helping them to overcome challenges and succeed in their academic pursuits.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one support to students with behavioural and emotional difficulties.
- Develop and implement behaviour management strategies to promote positive behaviour in the classroom.
- Build strong relationships with students to foster trust and confidence.
- Collaborate with teachers and other staff to create inclusive learning environments.
- Monitor and track progress of students, reporting on their development and behaviour improvements.
- Assist in creating and facilitating interventions aimed at improving student well-being and academic success.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children or young people, ideally within an educational setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A patient, empathetic attitude with a genuine desire to help students succeed.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2 or 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools) are desirable but not essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
