Job description
Are you passionate about supporting young people with autism and mental health challenges? A welcoming SEN school in East Grinstead is seeking a Behaviour Mentor to join their team and work closely with pupils who experience anxiety, ASD, and emotional distress in educational settings.
Role Highlights:

Work alongside pupils aged 11–18 to support emotional wellbeing and learning

Deliver small-group sessions focused on social communication and self-awareness

Help manage anxiety and low mood through structured daily routines
-
Collaborate with therapists and school staff to track progress and provide tailored support
Key Skills:
-
Experience supporting children with ASC and mental health needs (desirable)

A caring, reflective and non-judgemental approach
-
Ability to manage challenging behaviour in a low-arousal, respectful way
-
Strong teamwork and excellent communication
