Full-time Behaviour Support Assistant.

Start date – September 2024.

Secondary school based in Cardiff.

Opportunity to work in a newly refurbished department with innovative learning spaces and state of the art facilities.

Support pupils with additional behavioural needs both inside and outside the classroom.

Incorporate interventions in order to help pupils control their behavioural difficulties and therefore, increase their academic achievements.

Monitor pupils’ progress and report these back to senior members of staff.

Earn up to £450 per week, depending on your experience.

You must have some experience supporting children/young people or have skills that can be transferred to the educational sector. Experience with behavioural needs is desired; however, guidance and training will be provided.

Being able to build a repour with the children is crucial, finding ways to overcome the barriers that they put up and identifying new ways to help.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
