TP Tutors is expanding its team of committed educators across the South Coast of England. We’re seeking versatile tutors skilled in Maths, English, or general core subjects, with an openness to supporting SEN/SEND learners as needed.

Whether you’re based in Brighton, Portsmouth, Southampton, Bournemouth, or anywhere in between—we’d love to hear from you!

Role: General Tutor (with SEN/SEND 1:1 Opportunities)

About TP Tutors
At TP Tutors, we believe every child deserves the right support to thrive—and this begins with exceptional teaching. We offer tailored tuition across the South Coast, supporting students who need help catching up in core subjects or benefit from 1:1 assistance due to Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

Whether you’re conducting online sessions or working with students in person, you’ll be part of creating meaningful, lasting change.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver personalized tuition in Maths, English, or core subjects

  • Support students 1:1 or in small groups, including those with additional needs

  • Develop engaging, accessible lessons that match each child’s pace and objectives

  • Create a calm, inclusive, and motivating learning environment

  • Track student progress and collaborate with families, schools, and the TP Tutors team

‍ What We’re Looking For:

  • Experienced educators in primary or secondary teaching/tutoring

  • Open-minded individuals willing to work with SEND learners (prior experience is a plus, but training is provided)

  • Clear communicators with a flexible, positive approach

  • Tutors based on the South Coast, available for in-person sessions or online teaching

Why Join TP Tutors?

  • Flexible hours to fit your lifestyle

  • Competitive pay reflecting your experience and skills

  • Ongoing training and professional development, including SEND-focused strategies

  • An opportunity to create a meaningful impact in your local community

  • A supportive, inclusive team that values your contributions

If you’re ready to inspire and support students in achieving their potential—both academically and personally—we’d love for you to join us.
