The PWR team at Teaching Personnel have partnered with a Swaffham based Primary school to assist them with their recruitment ahead of 2025. The school are part of a large Multi Academy Trust, who have schools across the East. They are looking to employ an Assistant Headteacher on a temporary basis beginning as soon as possible.
Role: Assistant Headteacher
Location: Swaffham, Norfolk
Contract: Full Time, Temporary
Start: January or ASAP
Salary: £49,781 - £54,939

As Assistant Headteacher with responsibility for Behaviour and Pastoral Care, you will lead the strategic direction and management of the schools behaviour and pastoral support systems. Your work will be pivotal in fostering a positive, inclusive and safe school environment. You will work closely with the Headteacher, SENDCo, staff, students and parents to embed their values and create a culture of respect and resilience. The school and the Trust have a supporting governing body with dedicated, experienced staff and the most wonderful, happy pupils.
The successful Assistant Headteacher must have experience in school leadership (middle or senior leadership). Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
