About the Role
As an Art Teacher, you will:
-
Plan and deliver engaging and accessible art lessons tailored to the needs of SEN students.

Use a variety of creative techniques to support learning, communication, and self-expression.

Adapt teaching strategies to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.

Work closely with SEN staff and support assistants to create a nurturing learning environment.

Encourage students to develop confidence and independence in their artistic abilities.

Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to help them achieve their potential.
What They’re Looking For
The ideal candidate will be a creative and compassionate educator, with:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification.

Experience working in an SEN or inclusive education setting (preferred but not essential).

A strong passion for using art as a tool for learning and emotional development.

Excellent communication and adaptability skills.

A patient, nurturing, and student-centred approach to teaching.
