Job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate and creative Art Teacher to join a vibrant and dynamic school in Poole, starting April 2025. The school is seeking a dedicated educator to inspire and nurture the artistic potential of students across various age groups.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality Art lessons to students of all abilities.

  • Encourage creativity and self-expression through a wide range of media and techniques.

  • Develop engaging lesson plans and resources that meet curriculum standards.

  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support development.

  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment.

  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall school experience.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • A qualified teacher with a degree in Art or a related field.

  • Experience teaching Art at Key Stage 3 and 4 (KS3/KS4) – experience with Key Stage 5 (KS5) is desirable.

  • A passion for the subject, with a strong desire to inspire and motivate students.

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with students, staff, and parents.

  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.

  • A creative approach to teaching and a commitment to fostering student achievement.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
