About the Role:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and creative Art and Design Teacher to join our dynamic and passionate team at a secondary school located in Redditch, B97. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and innovative lessons to students at Key Stage 3, 4, and 5, covering a wide range of artistic disciplines including drawing, painting, sculpture, and digital design. The role offers an exciting opportunity to inspire students to explore their creativity and develop a lifelong passion for the arts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in Art and Design at KS3, KS4, and KS5.

  • Develop a creative and inclusive curriculum that promotes student engagement and progress.

  • Assess, track, and report on student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development.

  • Encourage students to explore and express their creativity through various media and techniques.

  • Contribute to the wider school community, including art exhibitions and extracurricular art-related activities.

  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall teaching experience within the department.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • A qualified teacher with a degree in Art, Design, Fine Art, or a related field.

  • Passionate about teaching and inspiring students in the creative arts.

  • Previous experience in teaching Art and Design at secondary level is highly desirable.

  • Excellent communication, organizational, and classroom management skills.
