Teaching Assistant needed in Cwmbran

Salary: From £89.00 a day

About the Role:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Teaching Assistant to join our team at a Secondary School in Cwmbran. This long-term position is perfect for someone who is passionate about education and thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support teachers and staff in delivering engaging learning experiences
- Assist with daily routines, classroom management, and promoting positive behaviour
- Demonstrate empathy and compassion towards students needing additional support
- Foster the academic, emotional, and social development of all pupils
- Help prepare new learning materials as needed
Requirements:
- Eligibility to work in the UK (Passport or Birth Certificate)
- Enhanced Child Only DBS Certificate (we will help you obtain this!)
- Registration with the Education Workforce Council (mandatory in Wales)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
