Additional Learning Needs Teacher – Cardiff

Full-Time | Starting from £166.32/day

Are you a qualified teacher looking to work in a specialist setting? Interested in enhancing your skills with access to specialised training?

We are recruiting for an Additional Learning Needs Teacher at a school in Cardiffcatering to pupils aged 3–19 with needs such as:

  • Social, Emotional, and Mental Health Difficulties (SEMH)
  • Autism
  • Profound & Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD)
  • Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD)

Role Overview:
You will deliver engaging, multi-sensory lessons to small classes (8–10 pupils) to ensure all students can access the curriculum. Creativity and differentiation are essential to meet individual needs and ensure optimal learning outcomes.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience or a strong interest in SEN.
  • Proactive, collaborative, and committed to supporting SEN pupils.
  • Skilled in adapting lessons to ensure accessibility for all learners.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
