Competitive Salary: £12.90 - £13.50 per hour
Full-Time Position
Fixed-Term Contract: Starting January 2025

The Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic 1:1 ADHD Support Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with a specific student with ADHD, supporting them to overcome learning challenges, fostering engagement, and encouraging positive behaviours in the classroom. Your support will be integral to the child’s progress and well-being within the school environment.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience working with children with ADHD or similar behavioural needs is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of ADHD and its effects on learning and development.
  • Patient, empathetic, and resilient, with the ability to stay calm in challenging situations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and external professionals.
  • A positive, nurturing approach to supporting students with special educational needs.
  • Understanding of the Church of England ethos and willingness to support the school’s values.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
