Academic Mentor

As an Academic Mentor, you will play a crucial role in helping students reach their full potential by providing one-on-one academic support, helping with study skills, and offering guidance through challenging subjects. Your dedication will empower students to thrive both inside and outside the classroom.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide tailored academic support to students across various subjects.
• Assist students with revision, exam preparation, and homework tasks.
• Foster a positive and encouraging learning environment.
• Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
• Help students develop effective study techniques and build confidence in their abilities.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has a strong academic background with knowledge of key subjects (Maths, English, Science, etc.).
• Is patient, empathetic, and able to inspire and motivate students.
• Has excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with students, teachers, and parents.
• Is organized and proactive in supporting students' academic development.
• Previous mentoring or tutoring experience is beneficial, but not essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
