1:1 Tutor
Job description
TP Tutors are looking for enthusiastic and engaging tutors to support pupils on a 1:1 basis. Many of our current placements are supporting pupils awaiting school placements, as such tuition often takes place in the home environment or out in the local community. We currently have availability across Nottinghamshire and are looking for tutors based in close proximity to this location.
We’ve seen an increase in demand for specialists in core subjects (English and Maths) and have opportunities to support both primary and secondary pupils, so welcome teachers from any background.
Pupils may need tuition for a variety of reasons, including:
- Behavioural difficulties (pupils excluded from school and awaiting a new placement)
- Emotional needs including school phobia or anxiety
- Medical needs
- Relocation and awaiting a school placement
- Improvement in grades
- Support with GCSE preparation
Successful applicants will need:
- Experience with primary or secondary aged children
- Experience working with children in a tuition capacity (desirable)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
