Job description

Job Title: 1:1 Tutor for Maths and English

Location:

East Midlands, Northamptonshire, Northampton

Salary:

£25.00 - £30.00 Per hour

Job Duties:

  • Provide one-on-one tutoring for students in Maths and English
  • Create personalised learning plans to meet the individual needs of each student
  • Assess student's progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
  • Communicate with parents or guardians to provide feedback on student's performance
  • Maintain accurate records of student's progress and achievements

Required Qualifications:

  • A relevant degree in Mathematics, English or Education
  • Proven experience in tutoring or teaching Maths and English
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to motivate and inspire students

Education:

Degree in Mathematics, English or Education

Experience:

Previous experience in tutoring or teaching Maths and English

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Solid understanding of Maths and English curriculum
  • Ability to tailor teaching methods to suit individual student needs
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Patience and empathy towards students

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate qualification in Education
  • Experience working with students with special educational needs

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
