1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant
Position: 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Chichester
Salary: Competitive, based on experience
Contract Type: Full-Time/Part-Time (flexible working hours available)
Start Date: Septemeber 2024
Role Overview:
As a 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with one of our students who requires additional support to achieve their full potential. You will play a crucial role in their educational journey, providing tailored assistance to meet their specific needs. This role is ideal for someone who is patient, empathetic, and passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with SEN.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized support to a designated student, both inside and outside the classroom.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
- Encourage the student's social, emotional, and academic development.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure a cohesive approach to the student's education/.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Experience working with children with SEN, preferably in a school setting.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting children with special educational needs.
- Ability to adapt to changing situations and the needs of the student.
- A commitment to the safeguarding and welfare of all students.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
