1:1 Teaching Assistant – Wigan
Daily Pay Rate - £89.44 - £100
Teaching Personnel are looking for a qualified Teaching Assistant for a Primary School in the WN4 area of Wigan. The school is located just off the M6 and is also easily accessible via public transport.
As a TA you will be required to work on a 1:1 basis with pupils, providing support and collaborating with the class teacher to assist with the effective delivery of lesson plans. They are “Confident in supporting children with additional needs and provide our staff with high quality information and training”. The Wigan & Warrington Team are looking for candidates who are available between 2-5 days per week for supply or long-term cover.
This Wigan-based Primary school “understand that we have a crucial role to play in ensuring that our children become valuable and fully rounded members of society, who treat others with respect and tolerance and are fully prepared for life in modern Britain”.
The Ideal candidate will have:
- All candidates will be required to complete a DBS check, and registration through TP is free of charge.
- Recent and relevant experience in a school-based environment.
- Experience in or ability to provide support to pupils with SEND.
- High level of pupil and classroom management skills.
- Dedication to implement the aims, policies and stated ethos of the school.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
