Job Duties:
As a 1:1 Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for providing individual support to students in an educational setting. This includes assisting with academic tasks, implementing educational plans, and helping students with special needs to achieve their learning goals.
Required Qualifications:
- A relevant qualification in Education or Teaching Assistance
- Good understanding of educational principles and practises
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Education:
A minimum of a Level 3 qualification in Education or Teaching Assistance
Experience:
Previous experience working in an educational environment, preferably in a support role
Knowledge and Skills:
- Knowledge of different learning styles and strategies
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask effectively
Preferred Qualifications:
- Level 4 qualification in Education or Teaching Assistance
- First aid certification
Working Conditions:
You will be working in a classroom setting, providing support to students on a one-to-one basis. The role may involve assisting students with physical or learning disabilities. Working hours are full-time, following the school schedule.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
