Job description

1:1 SEN Tutor

TP Tutors are recuiting SEN Tutors in the Nottingham area (NG2).  SEN Tutors must have experience with sensory based learning and have trauma informed practice training.

Job Duties:

  • Provide one-on-one tutoring for students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
  • Create individualised lesson plans based on students' needs and abilities
  • Implement strategies to support students' learning and development
  • Assess students' progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
  • Communicate with other stakeholders involved in the students' education

Qualifications:

  • Relevant qualification in Special Education or related field
  • Experience working with students with SEN
  • Knowledge of SEN strategies and interventions, inluding sensory based learning
  • Trauma informed practise training

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Understanding of SEN regulations and best practises
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Organisational skills to plan and track student progress

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
