1:1 English Tutor
Location: NG10 and surrounding areas

About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic 1:1 English Tutor to join our team and provide tailored support to students who require additional help in English Language and/or Literature. Whether working with young learners or GCSE students, you will be instrumental in building confidence and helping individuals reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective one-to-one English tutoring sessions

  • Support learners with reading, writing, grammar, and comprehension

  • Tailor lessons to suit individual learning styles, needs, and goals

  • Prepare students for examinations or assessments where relevant

  • Monitor progress and provide regular feedback

  • Maintain accurate records of sessions and student development

About You:

  • A degree in English, Education, or a related field

  • Prior tutoring or teaching experience

  • Excellent command of spoken and written English

  • Patience, empathy, and a passion for education

  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

  • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
