Youth Worker needed in Durham
Calling all passionate and dedicated individuals! Join our vibrant secondary school community as a Youth Worker and make a meaningful impact on the lives of young people. We're hiring for a full-time position in Durham starting in January 2025 until the end of the academic year.

As a Youth Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting our students' development and building strong connections within our school community.
As a dedicated Youth Worker, you will have the privilege of working closely with students aged 11-16 to inspire, guide, and support their personal, social, and emotional development.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Organising and delivering engaging activities that promote positive youth development.
- Providing mentoring and pastoral support to individual students or small groups.
- Creating a safe and inclusive environment that fosters a sense of belonging.
To thrive in this role, we are looking for candidates who possess the following attributes:
- A genuine passion for supporting and empowering students to reach their full potential.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build trusting relationships with young people.
- Flexibility, adaptability, and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
