We are currently recruiting for a year 3 primary school teacher for Maternity cover at a school in Stafford. The school is a caring, friendly, and inclusive school where every child matters. Role Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Year 3 Teacher to join a team on a maternity cover basis starting in January 2025. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons that cater to the diverse needs of their Year 3 pupils, fostering both academic and personal growth in line with the school's vision and values.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in accordance with the National Curriculum.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active learning and pupil engagement.
  • Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and carers to support the holistic development of each child.
  • Uphold the school's core values: Resilient, Respectful, Responsible, Aspirational, and Inquisitive.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching at the primary level, preferably in Key Stage 2.
  • Strong understanding of the National Curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.
  • Commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Alignment with the school's vision and values, demonstrating resilience, respect, responsibility, aspiration, and inquisitiveness.
