Year 3 Teacher

  • Blackburn (BB1)
  • Full-time (Monday-Friday)
  • £140-£180 per day (after AWR has been approached at 12 weeks)
  • Start date: October 2024

Teaching Personnel are looking to recruit an experienced Year 3 Teacher to work on a full-time basis within a ‘Good’ Primary School in Blackburn (BB1). The role is to start in October 2024 until July 2025. However, there is the possibility of this position being extended further for the right candidate. The SLT within school are incredibly supportive of all their staff, as demonstrated through the continuous professional development on offer as well as frequent career progression opportunities.

The incoming Year 3 teacher will need to be willing to take on full time responsibilities including, planning, marking, data entry, continual assessments etc. You would be expected to attend weekly staff meetings and relevant twilights during the term. The Head Teacher is willing to consider ECT’s as well as experienced teachers for this role.

The induvial appointed must have experience within a Primary School setting and hold a proven track record of raising attainment within Key Stage 2.

-Recent school references are a necessity
- Full time, Monday to Friday with PPA time included
- Class of 28 mixed ability students

- Uphold the schools behaviour policy

- Experience of teaching mixed ability classes

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
